set your goals, not box.

After a long day, I think I deserve to have a rest. But unfortunately, I still have three classes today, two of them are my majors.

Last night, we went to see a fortune teller. It was a part of our Documentary in BS155 and we are so lucky enough to get a discount from her. From 600php she let us pay 500php. Too lucky for a student. Of course at first she did not want us to have the interview but when we agreed to have a "session" with her, she enthusiastically agreed.

Her "vision" is somewhat different with each of us. Some were a bit unbelievable, but most were correct, especially to that of my friend, J**n. When it was my turn, she said "You are a potential psychic and I can see that you are lucky." She even mentioned something like 30years from now ... I just can't remember it all.

I now had two "advises" from these people. The other one is when we went to Quiapo, again, for documentary purposes. Between those two, I think I prefer the one we had last night. Though she's just using an ordinary set of cards, the one we use for solitaire, she has this aura of being trustworthy, that will make you believe what she's saying is true.

But in the end, fortune telling is just as good as making a mere guess. Though let's say that they have some basis in "guiding" you with your future, I still believe that your future depends on you. If you want that "guides" to happen, of course you will do something to make it happen! For example, if they say, "You will be rich!" but then you are not working, all you do is go to parties and all ... if you will not meet a person who will make you rich, of course, there is no way that it will come true! You can't just wait for the blessings to pour down from the sky!

Believe it or not, it is really in your hands. All of us have minds so we should use it! We are free from these forces. It is our obligation and our commonsense to know which way to go.

Live your life. Do not set an imaginary box for you to dwell in. You will not reach your full potential if you do that. :)
